70 amazing scholarship opportunities for Polish speaking graduates with a minimum of 2 years professional experience

Bord Bia and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School are now accepting applications for its unique suite of scholarship programmes, which will give 70 people an amazing opportunity to fast track their careers in the food industry.

These programmes provide a unique opportunity to become an expert in the food sector, completing assignments for Irish companies in foreign markets, including Poland, while studying for an internationally recognised masters – MSc International Marketing Practice, MSc in Business Sustainability, MSc Supply Chain & Account Management (Retail & Foodservice) and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business. Full fees are paid in addition to a tax-free bursary of up to €30,000* per annum (*dependent on programme and location) towards living  expenses for the programme. Food industry or marketing experience is not essential.

Sebastian Wrobel, from Dublin, completed the Fellowship in 2014 and is now Brand Manager for Costa d’Oro.

“The Bord Bia Fellowship programme was an amazing experience, which involved major challenges. It was also a fantastic opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in marketing, as well as the occasion to work with respected professionals in the food industry. I would like to recommend it to anyone who is looking for an opportunity to enrich their knowledge, gain extraordinary experience, and consequently greatly enhance their career prospects. “

Aliusha Hinevich, Poland

Aliusha Hinevich, who just completed the Fellowship says: “This is once in a lifetime opportunity to enter or progress within a very successful industry and fast track your career, while helping Irish food companies achieve success.  Also, you’re getting world class Master’s degree from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School”.

Conor Heavey, Programme Director says: “These programmes present an unrivalled blended learning opportunity combining classroom based learning, professional skills development, and practical in-market assignments on behalf of leading Irish food companies. Employment prospects are excellent with the vast majority of participants securing roles upon completion of the programme. We are hoping to award at least one of the scholarships for a placement to the Polish market and would encourage those with fluency in Polish and an interest in pursuing a career in the food industry to apply as soon as possible.”
